Spring Bible studies: These adult studies serve the purpose of intentional discipleship through the in depth study of God’s Word.
There will be two women’s studies available. Both groups meet every other Saturday morning at 9:30. These begin on January 27. The first group meets at the church and is led by Shantel Hampton. This semester they will be studying Psalm 107 using Lauren Chandler’s Steadfast Love. A full description can be found at http://www.lifeway.com/Product/steadfast-love-bible-study-book-P005787964 . You can either purchase the study book online or from the Lifeway store for $12.99.
The second women’s group is led by April Saleeby and meets in her home during the same time. This semester they are continuing the study of Acts. You do not have to have participated in Part 1 to join Part 2. A full description of this course is available at https://shop.precept.org/products/acts-part-2-precept-workbook-nasb . You may either purchase this workbook through the Precept website or through April for $18.00. This order will be placed on January 8 so that there is plenty of time to complete Lesson 1 before the first meeting. So if you want to order through April, please let her know by Monday morning.
Beginning February 6, the men will meet every other Tuesday evening at the church at 7:00. This semester they are studying the life of Joseph using Tony Evan’s Detours: The Unpredictable Path to Your Destiny. A full description of this study can be found at http://www.lifeway.com/n/Product-Family/Detours . The cost for the book is $12.99.
Life Groups: The Life groups of NCC are not Bible studies. Their purpose is to connect the body of Christ with one another through sharing life together. There may be a lesson taught or a devotion given on occasion, but these groups serve to offer godly support at various life stages through friendship and community. See each leader for additional information.
PB&J: Praying, Believing, and Juggling – a small group for young mothers. This group is led by Whitney Neeves and meets in her home every other Sunday evening from 7:00-8:30.
