We exist for worship, bringing glory to God in all aspects of our lives.
Psalm 148:13- Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven.
Romans 12:1- Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
We exist for relationship, growing in our knowledge of Christ and teaching others to do the same.
Matthew 28:19-20- Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
1 Peter 3:18- But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
We exist for service, showing the love of Christ in visible ways to the world around us.
James 2:14-17- What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
